Deleting Your Account

You don't need to apply to delete your account: the “Delete my account” button at the bottom of your Community profile page — in the Senaryo Okulu app or on senaryookulu.com — removes your account and the data tied to it the moment you confirm. If you no longer have the app or can't sign in, use the application route below.

Deleting from the app or the site

This is the fastest way and there's no waiting: it's deleted the moment you confirm.

The app's current store version is in Turkish; the Turkish labels are given in brackets so you can find them on screen.

• On a phone, open your profile page from the “Me” tab (“Ben”) and the “My community profile” card (“Topluluk profilim”); on a computer, click your name in the top right.
• Press the “Delete my account” button (“Hesabımı sil”) at the very bottom of the page.
• The screen lists exactly what will go. To confirm, type your password — if you signed in with Google, you'll be asked for your email address instead.
• It's deleted the moment you confirm. This can't be undone.

If you no longer have the app or can't sign in

You don't have to reinstall the app to ask for deletion. Fill in the form at senaryookulu.com/en/contact with the topic “Personal data request” and write the email address of your account. Applications are concluded within 30 days at the latest.

The same route is used to ask for a copy of your data or to have incorrect information corrected.

What is deleted?

Your account and everything that can be linked to it:

• Your account: your name, email address and password.
• Your Community profile: your profile picture, role, bio, city and the reservation of your display name.
• What you wrote: your Community posts and replies, crew listings, the likes you gave and the reports you made.
• Your messages: your one-to-one conversations, read receipts, connections and blocks.
• Your work: your lesson progress saved to the cloud and your Film Lab outputs.
• Your live class records: the programmes you signed up for, your seats, your class entry records and your access rights.
• The contact messages you sent us and, if you had one, your newsletter subscription.

What stays, and why?

• Usage measurement records. These are tied to a participant code generated in your browser; because they aren't linked to your name or account, they can't be matched to your account. They are deleted automatically on their own schedule, after 24 months. If you want this record dropped sooner, resetting your progress in the app or clearing your browser data is enough.
• Aggregate counters. Numbers like “how many times this page was opened” that can't be traced back to a single person.
• The acceptance record. It only carries “this identity accepted this version of this document”; it contains no text, name or email address. Once your account is deleted this record can't be resolved to an identity. If you want this deleted too, say so in your application.
• What other people wrote. Replies under your post go with it; but someone else's own post stays theirs, even after you leave.
